Each year, the WAVE Awards are presented to exceptional women over age 60 whose exemplary lives have been distinguished by the Women's Achievement, Vision, and
Excellence.

Since 1998, GirlSource has provided meaningful leadership and employment opportunities for low-income young women, 14 to 21 years old. We are proud to host the WAVE Awards to honor Women of Achievement, Vision and Excellence over the age of 60. The honorees are incredible role models for our participants, helping them see just what a determined woman can accomplish in her lifetime.
