We welcome donations of all sizes, in many forms. For more information about any of the donation options described below, please contact Leticia Hernandez at 415-252-8880, extension 304, or by e-mail at leticia@girlsource.org.

Donate money.

Make a financial contribution and pay in the way that’s most convenient — by check, credit card, or wire transfer. If you’d like to distribute your donation over the year, we can help set up automatic monthly payments directly from your checking account.

Employer matching programs: Thousands of companies offer programs that double or triple contributions made by employees. Please check with your Human Resources office to see what your company offers.

Donate stock.

A charitable gift of stock saves you capital gains taxes, while generously supporting GirlSource. You can choose to transfer stock electronically (perhaps the easiest and most secure method) or mail us the stock certificates.

Donate a car.

Donate a car, truck, van, motorcycle, RV, or boat to GirlSource, as long as they’re in working order.

Donate goods.

Donate used clothing, furniture and other items to the Community Thrift Store and designate GirlSource as the beneficiary, so that we receive the proceeds from the sale of your items. Join eScrip.

eScrip and its participating merchants reward customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of your purchases to your designated nonprofit group. Here’s how it works:

Register your grocery club card and your debit/credit card with eScrip.
Shop at participating eScrip merchants, who track your purchases.
At month-end, the merchants provide a rebate to eScrip, which delivers it directly into GirlSource's bank account.

Join Schoolpop.

Schoolpop brings together store, catalog, and online merchants within the community to raise money for youth organizations like GirlSource. Here’s how it works:

When you shop at a participating merchant, GirlSource earns a percentage of your purchase, at no extra cost to you.
In addition, when you charge your purchase using a Schoolpop VISA credit card, 1 percent of every purchase you make anywhere is rebated to GirlSource.
